United we stand: PT Usha

Ace former athlete PT Usha led Indian Olympic Association sent out an olive branch to all members urging them to sink their differences and work together for the betterment of Indian sports. In the first annual general meeting held in Delhi, Usha and joint secretary Kalyan Choubey, following agendas were discussed :

 1) confirmation of the minutes of the AGM held on December 10, 2022.

2) consideration and passing of the Audited statement of accounts for the year 20-21.

3) Review and decision on conduct of National Games allocated to the states of Goa, Chattisgarh, Uttaranchal and Meghalaya.

4) Preparedness of Goa to host this year's national games in October - November. They are totally ready this time.

5) Disposal of all old litigations immediately pending for over a couple of decades as complainants can’t be found and a way to go forward with the current ones including coming to settlements.

6) Gift to all the members present a Statue of Unity in order to press forward his intention that whatever differences the Association members had in the past was a thing of the past and now we all need to work as a united team in order to take this movement forward. He was pretty firm about this point and even gave a couple of examples also to clarify the strength of working together unitedly.
