By a Staff Reporter: State Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee had formed West Burdwan on April 7, 2017, giving importance to Asansol. As the district is headquartered, continuous development work has been going on in Asansol since 2017. Let me tell you that the State Law Minister, Malay Ghatak, has contributed greatly to the all-round development of Asansol.
In Asansol, a number of courts like District Judge, CBI Court, Consumer Court including POCSO Court, Narcotics Court have been started. The West Burdwan district judge inaugurated the Mediation Centre at the Criminal Court Building at District Judge Court Parisar, adding a feather to asansol's progress. Tell you, Shri Sunirmal Dutta, West Burdwan District Judge, inaugurated the Mediation Centre by cutting the lace.
He said that having a mediation centre will greatly benefit the people of Shilpanchal and will deal with a lot of cases. Shri Manoj Kumar Prasad, ADJ 2 Smt. Several advocates of Asansol Court were also present during the inauguration.
