Axis Bank has posted strong 94% surge in the net profit to Rs 2160 crore with healthy CASA growth, steady operating performance and resilient balance sheet. Net Interest Income of the bank has increased 11%, while fee income surged 62%.
The Bank’s operating profit for the quarter grew 10% yoy to Rs 6416 crore while the core operating profit grew 13% to Rs 5896 crore.
Net profit grew 94% from Rs 1112 crore in Q1FY21 to Rs 2160 crore in Q1FY22.
