​By a Staff Reporter: A fresh complication arose at R G Kar Hospital on Tuesday. The meeting was scheduled to take place around 2.30pm to break the deadlock. But the authorities did not want to allow anyone to enter there without identity cards. After that, the government hospital complex became hot again. Doctors say that not everyone has an Identity Card. See admission receipt or any other document as proof of college student. But the students started protesting again as the authorities were adamant on showing the identity cards. However, the students were later allowed to enter the auditorium. The meeting begins. The students also claimed that there have been incidents in medical colleges in the last two months which have created unbearable situations. The students demanded that the principal hold discussions with them on 15 such demands. But the situation heated up in the hospital premises on Monday as the principal did not want to sit down for talks. The students started protesting in front of the car when the principal tried to get out of the police car. The sit-in protest lasted for about 6.5 hours. Principal Sandeep Ghosh then said he would meet at the auditorium on Tuesday following the covid rules. But the students came to the meeting this afternoon and complained of new problems. The problem arises by showing the identity card. However, later he resolved the issue and the two sides sat in the meeting.
