By Staff Reporter: Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was born on 5 September 1888 in Tiruttani, Tamil Nadu to a poor Brahmin family. He was talented from his childhood. He has never been second in any test in his life. Poverty can't stopped him.




He graduated in philosophy from Madras Christian College in 1905. In 1918 he taught at the University of Mysore. In 1931 he was awarded the British Knighthood. In 1952, he became the first Vice President of independent India. In 1954 he was awarded by the Bharat Ratna. In 1962, he became the second President of India.
