Before the Dinhata municipal election and the Dinhata by-election, political speculation started again in Kochbihar

By a Staff Reporter: Before the by-elections and municipal elections in Dinhata sub-division of Kochbihar, newly appointed Trinamool Congress president of Kochbihar district Girindra Nath Barman met Mihir Goswami, MLA of BJP's Natabari assembly constituency in Kochbihar. As a result of this interview, a lot of speculation has started in a part of the political circles of Kochbihar. However, both the political leaders described the interview as a very courtesy one.

 However, it is pertinent to mention that Mihir Goswami left the Trinamool Party and joined the BJP before the 2021 Assembly elections. And then when the candidature for the assembly election was announced, he was nominated from the BJP party as the candidate for the Natabari assembly constituency in Kochbihar. And win the vote. But even after a long cut, he was not given any special position from the team.
