Shiv Sena-NCP-Congress call for strike in Maharashtra today

In Maharashtra, the ruling Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress today called for a strike to protest the violence in Lakhimpur Kheri in Uttar Pradesh. Eight people including four farmers died in Lakhimpur on October 3. Maha Vikas Aghari has appealed to the people to join the strike. Shiv Sena Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut said on Saturday that their party will participate in the strike with full force.
