Ajay Prasad will take over as deputy commissioner of police south Barrackpore, according to orders issued by state police directorate. He was earlier posted as deputy commissioner of police ESD, in Kolkata police. Prasad’s posting comes at a time when elections are due in Khardah in Barrackpore.
