As a shopping destination, Calgary offers visitors the opportunity to buy something that captures the flavour of the city and country along with sophisticated boutique products that you would expect to find in any major international city.
     The main shopping district is downtown Calgary Stephen's Avenue walkway lined with historic buildings,housing shops, galleries and restaurants. For more upmarket shopping there is the 17th Avenue .
     Around Stephen Avenue THE CORE is a supercomplx of SHOPPING malls with 160 stores. Covering more than one hectare is the indoor Botanical Garden on the Rooftop THE DEVONIAN GARDENS.
     The Chinook Centre south of downtown is the home to around 250shops , a cinema,food court & a full Scale dinosaur model created by the farm machinery parts.
     Crossiron Mills is an outlet mall on of the biggest in the Proviy of Alberta.
     One that makes Calgary a compelling destination for shoppers is the fact the Province Of Alberta charges no provincial sales tax resulting in better shopping value than in any other Canadian Province.
