Ajit Pawar all set to lead NCP

Ajit Pawar is all set to take over the reins of NCP after Sharad Pawar resigned from the party. According to sources close to the party, Ajit has been nurturing the party organisation for a very long time and has direct access with the NCP rank and file.  ``Ajit dada knows party workers in every district and region by name and interacts regularly with the local leadership,'' a local NCP functionary of Baramati told ANM News.

 Insiders in the party mentioned that leaders like Praful Patel and others have aligned themselves with Ajit Pawar. Sharad Pawar's daughter Supriya Sule has no mass base and has no other option but to allow Ajit to take charge of the party or else there are chances that NCP will break up.
