Ayodhya: Sarayu River To Get A 'Ramayana Spiritual Forest'

Along with the Ram Temple, Ramayana Spiritual Forest will now emerge on the banks of the Sarayu River to give devotees an immersive experience of Lord Ram's exile period.

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Along with the Ram Temple, Ramayana Spiritual Forest will now emerge on the banks of the Sarayu River to give devotees an immersive experience of Lord Ram's exile period.

The upcoming ecological forest will strive to provide a comprehensive insight into Lord Ram's 14 years of exile. Moreover, it will be natural historical park with features resembling to the ancient Dandaka Forest where Ram spent 14 years of exile along with his wife Sita and brother Laxman.

Along with this, A 'Bhraman Path' road project which will connect Sarayu with Ram Temple is underway parallely. Bhraman Path is the 4th road project after Ram Path, Bhakti Path and Ram Janmabhoomi Path. 

As per Dikshu Kukreja, the principal architect behind the project, the forest is being constructed through a Public-Private partnership. Moreover, the project investment is estimated over rs. 85,000 and will consist of various unique attributes including grand entries called 'Ram-Dwars', varied lodging facilities such as homestays and Dharamshalas, and many more.
