In a recent address, BJP MP Biplab Kumar Deb criticized AIMIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi for using the phrase "Palestine Zindabad" while taking his oath in Parliament. Deb questioned the appropriateness of Owaisi's words, stating, "Be it Palestine or any other country, all have good relations with India. The question is whether he can say Palestine Zindabad while taking oath or not. Instead of saying Bharat Mata Zindabad, he is saying Zindabad of another country." Deb also highlighted the opposition's silence on the issue, contrasting it with Owaisi's reaction when Deb used "Namaste" before his own oath, which Owaisi protested as an anti-constitutional word.
