By A Staff Reporter: Following the Kanchenjunga Express train accident, Union Minister and West Bengal BJP president Sukanta Majumdar addressed the tragedy. He described it as "indeed a tragic incident," attributing it to preliminary findings of human error.

"I have spoken to the Railway Minister as well as the DRM of this region, and by around 12 am, this route will be operational," stated Majumdar.

Expressing his view on political reactions to the incident, he remarked, "I think at this time, she (CM Mamata Banerjee) should not do politics. But as I said in the morning, she will do politics. And that is what has happened."
