Chandipura Virus Outbreak in Gujarat: 6 Deaths Reported in Sabarkantha

Gujarat: Sabarkantha District Health Officer Raj Sutariya has confirmed an outbreak of the Chandipura virus in the district. "Till now, there are 14 cases of Chandipura virus in Sabarkantha Civil hospital. Out of the 14 cases, 6 people have died. 7 cases are under treatment at Himmatnagar hospital," Sutariya reported.

The health officer's update highlights the severity of the situation, with ongoing efforts to manage and treat the affected patients at Himmatnagar hospital.
