CUET UG 2024 Result Delay, DU Classes to Start Mid-August

Delhi University Vice-Chancellor Yogesh Singh announces a two-week delay in the CUET UG 2024 results, affecting the start of first-year classes. Regular semester for other students begins August 1.

Delhi University Vice-Chancellor Yogesh Singh has addressed the delay in the CUET UG 2024 results, reassuring students and parents that the situation is under control. "There are two issues here," Singh said. "The result has not been declared but it will come very soon. After that, we will start our counselling. But there will be a delay of about two weeks. I am hopeful that first-year classes, where we are making admission through CUET, will be held by August 16-17."

Singh further detailed the schedule for other students: "We are starting our regular semester for second and third-year students and also B.Tech and Law 5-year program students from August 1. So, there will be a slight delay but we will cover up that delay. We will cover up that also. There is no need to worry."
