Delhi: In a major breakthrough, Delhi Police Special Cell’s Counter Intelligence team has arrested seven shooters allegedly plotting the murder of a man named Sunil Pehelwan in Rajasthan. The arrests span across multiple locations, with suspects apprehended from Delhi, Rajasthan, and Punjab. Additional CP of Special Cell, Pramod Kumar Kushwaha, shared details of the operation, revealing, “The first arrest, Ritesh, was made in Delhi on October 23, followed by Sukharam from Rajasthan and others from Abohar and Sirsa in Punjab.”

Police uncovered that the suspects had already conducted two reconnaissance missions and were operating under direct instructions from RJ Bishnoi, an independent operative previously associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi syndicate. A GPS tracking device was seized from the group, which investigators believe was intended for tracking their target.

The target’s family has a political and business background, potentially adding layers to the motive. Kushwaha emphasized that the case has no current links to the recent murder of Baba Siddique, clarifying, “This has nothing to do with the Baba Siddique murder so far.”

With these arrests, authorities have averted a potentially violent incident, and investigations are ongoing to unravel the further criminal networks tied to the suspects.
