Gujarat Health Minister Rushikesh Patel has provided an update on the ongoing flood rescue efforts in the state. "We have rehabilitated more than 5,000 people today and rescued over 12,000," Patel announced.

He highlighted that the Vishwamitri River, which flows through Baroda, has caused water to inundate both sides of the river, trapping many residents. "For those who are trapped, we have arranged all necessary facilities to provide them with food and medicines," Patel added.
