Gujarat Minister on Jain Idol Vandalism: FIR Registered, Restoration Ordered

By A Staff Reporter- In response to the removal of Jain Tirthankara idols at Pavagadh Hill in Panchmahal, Gujarat Minister Rushikesh Patel confirmed that the incident was the work of anti-social elements. He announced that an FIR has been registered, and orders have been given to restore the damaged idols.

"Anti-social elements had done this. (Orders given) to restore the idols there and FIR has also been registered. It will be investigated very well and action will be taken against those who are guilty," stated Patel.

He emphasized the importance of respecting religious sentiments and traditions, assuring that future actions will be taken to prevent such incidents. "In the time to come, nobody's sentiments are hurt when it comes to matters of devotion or traditions," Patel added.
