Gyanvapi Mosque: Prayers offered At Vyas Ji Ka Tehkhana

BY A STAFF REPORTER: In a significant development, a priest offered prayers at Vyas Ji Ka Tehkhana in Gyanvapi Mosque on 1st February in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. 

This comes after the Varanasi district court permitted the Hindu community to perform puja in the Gyanvapi mosque. Moreover, the court instructed the district administration to make appropriate arrangements in a week. The Vyas Ji Ka Tehkhana is a temple situated in the Gyanvapi mosque complex in Varanasi.

On the orders of the Varanasi district court, the ASI scientific survey report conducted on the site was released publicly on 24th January. As per the report, a large Hindu temple existed on the site before the construction of the mosque.
