NCP-SCP Leader Nirmala Samant Prabhavalkar on Stock Market Manipulation Complaint

By A Staff Reporter- Nirmala Samant Prabhavalkar, a leader of the NCP-SCP, disclosed details of a meeting held at Sharad Pawar's residence, the head of the NCP-SCP, where four Congress MPs suggested lodging a complaint with SEBI concerning the manipulation of the stock market on election result day.

"A meeting was held at Sharad Pawar's residence, the head of the NCP-SCP. Four Congress MPs came there and suggested that we should go to the SEBI office regarding the way the market crashed in the middle and the surge before that was wrong, so there should be a complaint and an inquiry into it...SEBI is a regulating authority which controls the stock exchange. If there is any complaint about anything unethical or illegal, there is only one institution that can intervene is the stock exchange," Prabhavalkar stated.
