President Murmu To Award PM Rashtriya Bal Puraskar To 19 Children

BY A STAFF REPORTER: President Droupadi Murmu will confer the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar upon 19 children for their exceptional achievement on 22nd January at Delhi's Vigyan Bhawan.

The Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar is the highest national civilian award for children. Moreover, it is awarded by the Ministry of Women and Child Development every year. As per the traditions, the award ceremony will be held a few days before Republic Day which is on the 26th of January. Last year, 11 people were honored with this award. The award consists of a medal, a cash prize, and a certificate. The awardees will participate in the forthcoming Republic Day parade at the Kartavya Path, erstwhile Raj Path, on 26th January.
