BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla

By A Staff Reporter- BJP national spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla criticized Rahul Gandhi's decision to leave Wayanad, accusing him of betraying the constituency. "We were saying it from day one that Rahul Gandhi will betray the people of Wayanad," said Poonawalla. He added that left party leader Annie Raja had also predicted Rahul Gandhi would abandon Kerala and Wayanad.

"It has been made clear today that the family heritage of a company named Congress can only be transferred to the daughter and not the son," Poonawalla remarked, suggesting that the Congress party prioritizes dynastic politics over genuine commitment to their constituencies.
