BY A STAFF REPORTER: Amid the Farmers' Protest row, MoS of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Arjun Munda urged farmers to cooperate and communicate with the center. He further assured that administrative works will be fast-tracked.
Munda predominantly urged the leaders of various farmers' organizations to cooperate and communicate with the center so that common people do not suffer. He argued that the formulation of new laws needs a thorough consideration. Moreover, he stressed that the center wants to hold talks with the farmers' organizations and explore potential resolutions.
The authorities used tear-gas shells and water cannons to disperse the massive crowd of protesting farmers who were en route to Delhi to participate in the large-scale farmers' protest, namely the 'Delhi chalo march', predominantly seeking legal assurance of MSP (minimum selling price). The protests grew violent on the Haryana-Shambhu border as the agitated protesters vandalized flyover barricades.
