According to the lunar calendar, the Amavasya Tithi will begin on October 31 3:07:42 PM. Amavasya Tithi will remain till 5:08:07 PM on November 1. However, there are differences of opinion about this Tithi. Accordingly, Amavasya Tithi will begin on October 31 at 3:52 PM. The next day November 1, the Amavasya will leave at 12:48 PM. The main puja rituals are set to take place during the night, with the most auspicious moment being from 11:48 PM on October 31 to 12:48 PM on November 1.

Devotees eagerly await this sacred night, where they offer prayers and perform rituals to seek the blessings of Maa Kali, the goddess of destruction and empowerment, to remove darkness and bring forth light in their lives. The celebration of Kali Puja not only symbolizes the victory of good over evil but also reinforces the spiritual connection between the devotees and the goddess.
