Priyanka New Delhi: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has strongly refuted allegations of corruption against its leader and former Delhi minister Satyendar Jain, calling the FIR against him in the CCTV project case a politically motivated move by the BJP. Party spokesperson Kakkar on Wednesday termed the accusations "ridiculous" and accused the BJP of misusing investigative agencies to target AAP leaders.

"These are ridiculous allegations. It is being alleged that BEL gave a bribe of ₹7 crore to waive off a penalty of ₹16 crore. Would they not go to court to waive it off? Who gave this bribe? These are desperate attempts by the BJP," Kakkar said.

She further accused the BJP of continuously harassing AAP leaders with false cases, stating, "The witch hunt against AAP leaders has continued. There has been no evidence in any of the cases because there has been no scam."

Kakkar also hit out at the BJP over financial fraud cases, questioning why the ruling party was not taking action against defaulters who fled the country after failing to repay massive loans. "The BJP should use these agencies against people who fled the country without paying loans. The misuse of agencies has continued, and the country will not progress this way," she added.
