New Delhi: AAP MLA Shiv Charan Goel has expressed strong support for Manish Sisodia following his release from Tihar Jail on bail granted by the Supreme Court.

In a statement, Goel described Sisodia’s bail as "a defeat of dictatorship and a victory of democracy." He highlighted Sisodia's achievements as Delhi's former Education Minister, noting, “He was an education minister who provided world-class schools to Delhi for which he was praised even in an American newspaper.”

Goel criticized the detention, stating that Sisodia was jailed 17 months ago without evidence. He concluded by announcing his intention to meet Sisodia soon, reinforcing his support and celebrating the bail decision.
