Delhi: Congress leader Ajay Singh Yadav has expressed his disagreement with the idea of forming an alliance with the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) for the upcoming Haryana assembly elections. Speaking on the matter, Yadav emphasized that key Congress figures like Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, and Sonia Gandhi would ultimately decide whether such an alliance is necessary.

However, Yadav made it clear that, in his personal opinion, Congress does not require an alliance with AAP. "The popularity of Congress is at its peak. AAP can cause no loss to Congress," he stated.

Yadav further questioned the need for AAP’s involvement in Haryana politics, expressing confidence in Congress’s strength and reach in the state. "Why should AAP be allowed to enter Haryana?" he added, indicating his belief that Congress can secure success independently in the upcoming elections.
