Bengaluru, Karnataka: Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw provided an update on key transportation initiatives in Bengaluru during a recent review of major projects. Speaking to the press, Vaishnaw said, "We have discussed transportation in Bengaluru in detail. Today, the review of 3 big projects has been done."
Among the projects highlighted was the circular rail for Bengaluru, with Vaishnaw reporting, "The DPR's (Detailed Project Report) progress of the circular rail to be constructed in Bengaluru is good." He also inspected the area between the Bengaluru airport and Bengaluru Cantt, noting efforts to position the railway station as close as possible to the airport.
In addition to the circular rail, the minister announced plans to double the railway line from the airport to Yelahanka station, further enhancing the city's transportation infrastructure. "The progress of other stations in Bengaluru city is also good," Vaishnaw added, reflecting optimism for the continued development of the region’s rail network.
