Dibrugarh, Assam: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma attended the foundation stone-laying ceremony for a new ISKCON temple in Dibrugarh, expressing optimism about its completion. Speaking at the event, CM Sarma stated, "I got the opportunity to attend the foundation stone laying ceremony of the ISKCON temple in Dibrugarh today. I am confident that it will be completed soon and will provide a spiritual place for the people of Dibrugarh and Upper Assam."
In addition to his remarks on the temple, CM Sarma also addressed the ongoing investigation into an online trading scam that has come to light. "I am fulfilling my responsibility, and action is being taken. I will expose this scam," he said, affirming his commitment to cracking down on fraudulent activities. The Chief Minister confirmed that more than 30 individuals have been arrested in connection with the scam, and further investigations are underway to bring those involved to justice.
