In a recent statement, environmentalist Bhavreen Kandhari has condemned the political handling of air pollution in Delhi, calling for immediate action to address what she describes as a public health emergency.

"See air pollution has to be treated as a public health emergency. It is so sad that the governments are making this political while our children are choking," Kandhari expressed, highlighting the severe impact of pollution on public health, especially on children.

She criticized the lack of effective response to the crisis, noting, "Nothing of this affects anyone and everybody is at fault here."
