Ravindran Sankaran, Director General of the Bihar State Sports Authority, shared his vision for Bihar's sports future during the inauguration of the State Sports Academy and Bihar Sports University in Rajgir. Speaking at the event, Sankaran outlined ambitious plans for Bihar's sporting ambitions, aiming for the state's athletes to compete and excel in the 2032 Olympics.
He emphasized that the new facilities, constructed on 99.6 acres, mark the beginning of a transformative journey for Bihar's sports sector. According to Sankaran, the academy will provide top-notch training to players, laying the foundation for the state to become a prominent sports hub in India. The initiative reflects a strategic effort to harness local talent and elevate Bihar's status on the national and international sports stage.
