In response to a recent attack on an NRI in Amritsar, BJP leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa expressed serious concerns about the current law and order situation in Punjab under the AAP government led by Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann.

Sirsa pointed out that since the AAP took control of Punjab, the state has become akin to a "no man's land," where criminal activities have escalated. He highlighted the incident involving Sukhchain Singh, an NRI who was shot by two unidentified assailants at his home shortly after purchasing a car worth Rs 1.5 crore. Singh survived the attack, but Sirsa used the incident to emphasize the "complete lawlessness" in the state and questioned the government's ability to ensure safety and security for its citizens.
