Srinagar, J&K: BJP incharge of Jammu & Kashmir and National General Secretary Tarun Chugh has strongly criticized the Congress party, accusing it of causing prolonged unrest in the region for over 70 years. Chugh claimed that Congress, in collaboration with the NCP and PDP, has been involved in a proxy war in J&K, deliberately spreading violence and depriving the youth of employment opportunities.

Chugh alleged, "The Congress has been playing in the hands of cross-border forces, mainly driven by the ISI, and has been waging a proxy war in J&K to spread violence and disturbance." He further accused Congress of deliberately supporting divisive forces and neglecting the plight of Kashmiri Pandits.

In his remarks, Chugh emphasized that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has committed to restoring statehood to J&K as soon as the law and order situation improves. He highlighted the failure of the Gupkar alliance in recent elections, attributing it to a new wave of hope among the youth, who are now seeking job opportunities instead of resorting to violence.

"Jobs for the youth and women empowerment are the top priority of the BJP in J&K," Chugh asserted, promising a fresh start for the people of the region. He criticized the Congress, NCP, and PDP for depriving J&K of development and progress, while assuring that the BJP will usher in a new era of growth and stability.
