BSF and BGB Intensify Coordination on India-Bangladesh Border
In response to Ministry of Home Affairs' directions, the BSF and BGB have conducted 83 flag meetings and 241 coordinated patrols in vulnerable areas along the India-Bangladesh border to monitor the situation.
Following directives from the Ministry of Home Affairs, a key meeting was held on August 10 to monitor the situation along the India-Bangladesh border. Acting on instructions from the BSF Director General, members of the committee engaged in communication with their counterparts. Over the last three days, the Border Security Force (BSF) of India and the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) have held approximately 83 flag meetings at various levels.
In addition to these meetings, both forces have conducted around 241 coordinated patrols in vulnerable areas within the Eastern Command Area of Responsibility (AOR). These efforts are part of a heightened focus on ensuring security and stability along the border.
