At a recent event on Parliament Street, Union Minister and Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) National President Chirag Paswan discussed the challenges facing Bihar's development, focusing on the issue of migration.
"Until migration stops, we won't be able (to develop Bihar). People of Bihar go to other states for education, get jobs there and ultimately settle down there," Paswan stated. He expressed concern about the brain drain from Bihar, where skilled individuals often leave the state for better opportunities elsewhere.
Paswan acknowledged the capabilities of Biharis, noting their success across various sectors. "I don't think we should doubt the capabilities of the people of Bihar. You can find Biharis in each and every sector," he said. However, he questioned why Bihar remains behind despite the achievements of its people. "If Biharis are doing so well, then why is Bihar so behind? We need to find an answer to this question," Paswan added.
