Lucknow | With a clear focus on improving road infrastructure, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has overseen an ambitious effort to widen, strengthen, and repair roads across the state since 2017.

Currently, UP is constructing an average of 11 kilometers of new roads and widening 9 kilometers of roads every day. Since April 2017, the government has successfully built 32,074 kilometers of roads in rural areas, significantly enhancing connectivity and accessibility. Additionally, 25,000 kilometers of roads have been strengthened, ensuring better durability and traffic flow.

The state government has emphasized infrastructure development as a key driver of economic growth, facilitating better transport for businesses, farmers, and commuters. The ongoing projects align with Yogi Adityanath’s vision of a modern and well-connected Uttar Pradesh, with several expressways and highways also under development.
