New Delhi: Congress leader Jairam Ramesh addressed the media following the Congress Parliamentary Strategic Group meeting, chaired by Mallikarjun Kharge with Leader of Opposition (LoP) Rahul Gandhi also in attendance. The meeting focused on strategizing the party's key issues to be raised in both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha in the upcoming parliamentary sessions.

Ramesh outlined several pressing social, financial, and political matters that the party intends to bring to the forefront. He specifically mentioned high-profile topics like the ongoing Adani scam, the situation in Manipur, and India's diplomatic stance in its agreement with China.

"We discussed the issues that need to be highlighted in the upcoming parliamentary sessions, including critical national matters such as the Adani scam, the unrest in Manipur, and our position regarding China," Ramesh stated, emphasizing the need for these issues to be addressed on the parliamentary floor.

The Congress party has expressed concern over what it perceives as the government's failure to adequately address these matters, and the meeting was aimed at planning an effective strategy to put pressure on the ruling party during parliamentary debates. The upcoming sessions are expected to see heated discussions on these issues, with the opposition demanding accountability and transparency from the government.
