NEW DELHI – Congress leader Sachin Pilot on Tuesday launched a sharp attack on both the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), accusing them of indulging in blame games rather than addressing pressing public concerns.

Speaking at a campaign event ahead of the 2025 Delhi Assembly elections, Pilot criticized the ruling parties at the Centre and in Delhi, alleging that they had failed to tackle inflation, unemployment, and pollution.

"Congress is contesting the election strongly, and we are telling people that for the last 10 years, BJP has ruled at the Centre and AAP in Delhi, but instead of solving real problems, they have only played a blame game, trying to pull each other down," Pilot said.

Referring to the recent controversy over Yamuna pollution, where AAP accused the Haryana government of contaminating the river, Pilot condemned the negativity in politics. "Now they (AAP) are saying that the Haryana government mixed poison in the water... this politics has become so negative," he remarked.

Pilot emphasized that Congress remains focused on real issues affecting citizens, contrasting his party’s approach with what he termed as the "politics of accusations" played by BJP and AAP. With the Delhi elections heating up, Congress is positioning itself as an alternative to both parties, banking on voter discontent over governance failures.
