Parli, Maharashtra – With Maharashtra Assembly Elections on the horizon, Dhananjay Munde, state minister and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) candidate for the Parli constituency, shared his optimism about his deep-rooted connections with local voters and his unwavering commitment to public service. Speaking about his campaign, Munde emphasized the importance of trust and rapport with the people, built over years of active involvement, regardless of official positions.

“My trust is in the people,” Munde stated. “The way I have been in service of the people, either by being in any post or not, I have a different kind of relationship with the people in the constituency. I have fulfilled all the promises that I have made.”

Reflecting on recent election trends, Munde noted the distinction between Lok Sabha and assembly elections, pointing out that parliamentary campaigns have often centered on broader issues, such as religion and caste, rather than local development. However, he is confident that these factors will carry less weight in the state assembly elections, where voters are more focused on tangible improvements and local issues.

“Lok Sabha elections were contested on the issue of religion and caste instead of development,” he observed, adding, “Many of the factors that worked in Lok Sabha elections won’t work in assembly elections.”

Munde’s stance underscores his commitment to tackling development issues in Parli, where he has implemented a range of initiatives over his tenure. As a familiar face with a solid record of fulfilling promises, Munde aims to rally his constituents around shared goals for growth, hoping to steer the upcoming assembly election towards discussions on development and progress in Maharashtra.
