New Delhi — The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has summoned businessman Robert Vadra for questioning in an ongoing money laundering investigation related to a land deal in Shikohpur, Haryana. Vadra, who is facing scrutiny over the deal, arrived at the ED office for questioning.
Outside the ED office, Vadra addressed the media, stating, "23,000 documents are not easy to gather... Nobody is evading anything. I am here today... I am expecting a conclusion. I am waiting for the conclusion." His remarks suggest a willingness to cooperate with the investigation, as he emphasized transparency in the process.
The case, which involves allegations of money laundering linked to the purchase of land in Haryana, has attracted significant attention. Vadra, the husband of Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi, has previously denied any wrongdoing and has faced multiple investigations over the years in relation to various business dealings.
