Goa CM Pramod Sawant Confident of BJP Victory in Delhi, Expects Formation of Double-Engine Government

Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has expressed strong confidence that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will emerge victorious in the 2025 Delhi Assembly elections, asserting that the people of Delhi are now more informed about the truth and will vote accordingly. Speaking about the upcoming polls, Sawant said, "People (of Delhi) now know what is true and what is false. That's why a double-engine government will be formed in Delhi."

Sawant emphasized the desire of Delhi’s voters for the kind of development seen across the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He pointed out that the people of Delhi are eager for the same progress that has been achieved at the national level, especially in terms of infrastructure, governance, and economic growth.

Referring to the concept of a "double-engine government," Sawant underlined that the combination of BJP-led central and state governments would bring about more effective and cohesive development in Delhi. He expressed his belief that with such a government in place, the city would experience enhanced growth, particularly in areas that directly impact its residents.
