In a recent statement regarding the Tirupati Laddu Prasadam controversy, Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and YSRCP chief Jagan Mohan Reddy criticized current Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for his remarks following a Supreme Court reprimand. Reddy highlighted that the Supreme Court had taken a serious note of Naidu’s comments and reprimanded him for multiple statements he made on the issue.
Reddy pointed out that despite the Supreme Court's warning, Naidu "stooped down to a level" where his Twitter handle disseminated misleading information. He cited a specific tweet from the TDP (Telugu Desam Party) account that alleged the Supreme Court reprimanded Reddy, claiming he had twisted the court's words.
“The lies have no end,” Reddy stated, calling for an end to such behavior. He emphasized the need for integrity in political discourse, insisting that leaders should not resort to dishonesty or misrepresentation.
Reddy's comments underline the ongoing tension between the YSRCP and TDP in Andhra Pradesh, particularly regarding accountability and the responsible conduct of public officials. As the controversy unfolds, the focus remains on the implications of the Supreme Court's reprimand and the reactions from both political factions in the state.
