Bengaluru: Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar addressed concerns about investment in the state, reassuring investors and emphasizing the state's openness to talent from outside Karnataka. "No investors need to worry. We want investors to come to Karnataka," Shivakumar stated.

He acknowledged the contributions of people who have moved to Karnataka for work, highlighting Bengaluru's population growth to 1.4 crores due to these influxes. "There are certain sections of the people who are talented and have come from outside the state. We want them to work in Karnataka," he said.

Shivakumar emphasized the state's commitment to providing opportunities for all, including local residents. "We just want to give them scope... We are more worried than both the employer and the employee. We will see where we can accommodate Kannadigas," he added.
