New Delhi: Congress MP Karti Chidambaram voiced strong criticism of the NDA government, citing the dissatisfaction among Chief Ministers over the allocation of funds in the Union Budget.
"Many Chief Ministers are slighted by the allocation of funds in this Union Budget. Many have therefore boycotted the NITI Aayog meeting. West Bengal CM has also walked out of the meeting as she was not given adequate time to speak," Chidambaram stated.
He further emphasized the implications of these actions. "This shows the anti-federal mindset of this NDA government. This is not the mandate the people of India have given," he remarked, underscoring the growing tension between the central government and various state leaders.
