By A Staff Reporter — Addressing a crowd in Delhi's Vikaspuri, AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal issued a stark warning to voters about the potential consequences of supporting the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the upcoming elections. He highlighted the electricity situation in states governed by the BJP, such as Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, where residents face prolonged power cuts.
Kejriwal stated, "If you (people of Delhi) vote for BJP, then you will face power cuts once again. Ask people in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar where people have to endure power cuts for 8-10 hours." He contrasted this with Delhi's current electricity situation, emphasizing, "Besides, electricity is free in Delhi, but it is very costly in Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Bihar."
The AAP leader's remarks come as part of a broader campaign strategy to rally support by showcasing the benefits of AAP's governance, particularly in terms of electricity supply and affordability. Kejriwal's assertions aim to resonate with voters who prioritize stable and cost-effective electricity services, as the party seeks to secure another term in office.
