Kerala CM on Wayanad Landslide: Migrant Workers Safe

Wayanad: Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan addressed the media regarding the recent landslide in Wayanad, providing updates on the situation and measures taken for relief. "The migrant workers in the Mundakkai and Chooral Mala areas are safe. The Labor Board will provide medical and financial assistance to both plantation workers and migrant workers," he stated.

CM Vijayan also shared that substantial funds have been allocated for disaster relief efforts. "From July 30 until yesterday, we have received Rs 53.98 crores in the disaster relief fund," he informed.
