BJP leader Kiran Choudhry expressed her gratitude after being elected unopposed to the Rajya Sabha from Haryana. Reflecting on her political journey, Choudhry said, "I thank the top leadership of the party for this honor. This shows the working of the BJP. Twenty years ago, I contested the elections on a Congress ticket, and they all connived to defeat me. I am proud to be associated with the BJP. They were afraid that the MLAs of Congress would do cross-voting."

When asked about Kangana Ranaut's recent comments on the farmers' protest, Choudhry distanced herself from the remarks, saying, "That is her thinking. I think she doesn't know anything about the farmers. Haryana is an agriculturally developed state. If the farmers are strong, the state is strong. We are always standing with the farmers. The BJP has taken historical decisions for the farmers that were never taken before."
