Delhi: Former Nepal Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal paid heartfelt tributes to CPI (M) General Secretary Sitaram Yechury at the party office in Delhi. Reflecting on his long association with Yechury, Nepal highlighted the significant role Yechury played in strengthening relations between the two parties and in addressing internal matters within Nepal.

“I was associated with Sitaram Yechury for a long time,” Nepal stated. “He played a crucial role in fortifying the relationship between our parties and contributed significantly to Nepal’s internal matters.” His remarks underscore Yechury’s impact on international relations and party dynamics, emphasizing the deep respect and appreciation for his work.

Nepal also offered condolences on behalf of the CPN (Unified Socialist) to Yechury’s family and to the CPI(M) leadership. “I offer my condolences to his family and also to the leaders of CPI(M) on behalf of the CPN (Unified Socialist),” Nepal said, acknowledging Yechury’s influential presence and contributions.
