Maharashtra Congress President Nana Patole has called for a statewide protest in response to the Bombay High Court's judgment on sexual harassment cases. Patole announced that all Congress leaders would participate in demonstrations at district headquarters across Maharashtra, wearing black bands on their faces or mouths as a sign of protest. The protest is scheduled to take place from 11 AM to 12 noon.

Patole criticized the Maharashtra government for its failure to prevent sexual harassment against women, stating that this protest is aimed at highlighting the government's shortcomings in addressing these issues. He confirmed his participation in the protest in Thane district, emphasizing the Congress party's commitment to standing against injustice and supporting the safety and rights of women.
