Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has strongly dismissed Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s allegations of discrepancies in the state’s voter list, asserting that such claims are baseless and politically motivated. His remarks come amidst a heated political atmosphere ahead of the Delhi Assembly election results.
Speaking to the media, Pawar challenged Gandhi to conduct his own investigation. “Tell him to do his own probe and appoint his own team to investigate it. Tomorrow, Delhi election results will be announced, and after losing, people will start blaming others,” Pawar said.
He further emphasized that election results are determined by the people, not conspiracy theories. “In a democracy, people vote and elect their leaders. But some individuals try to create misunderstandings. They make such statements to motivate their party workers,” he added.
